4/15/10 FFA bullbash is coming up We will be painting signs all this week up until monday. Check with Mr. Munsell on what you can do.
Bullbash is May 1st, all Bullbash committees should be wrapping up their work.

ULYSSES FFA CHAPTER BYLAWS Members will conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen. The FFA Code Of Ethics will be used as guidelines, as well as school rules regarding: behavior and dress. Members must remember they represent not only themselves, but also their school, their community, their parents, their FFA chapter, their advisor, and the national FFA. (8/82) Members will refer to the FFA Manual on proper use of the FFA jacket. (8/82) Members will compete and represent Ulysses FFA to the best of their ability. (8/82) Members will come to meetings with business like attitudes, being ready to discuss items on the agenda using appropriate parliamentary procedure with no horseplay or unneeded conversation. (8/82) Members should come to workouts and practices prepared and ready to work. (8/82) Members will qualify for state contests according to SW district FFA rules and or Kansas FFA state rules. Advisor will select best team possible from those who have qualified through afore mentioned rules. (8/82) Star Greenhand and Star Chapter Farmer will be selcted based on incentative plans (points) earned through activities throughout the year. (8/82) Ammendment to include Outstanding Sophomore, Outstanding Junior, Ag Businessman. (8/93) Members will qualify to go to National Convention by being eligiblr, selling 80 items of cheese, and be in good standing with the chapter. Space available will determine the number that can be taken starting with the highest over minimum amount and working down till all spots are take. All members wanting to qualify must have sold the minimum amount to qualify. (80 items) Amended to 125 items to go to Louisville. (8/2000) Ammended to 200 items Indianapolis. (8/2007) Ammended to 225 items. (8/2009) Members must sign and abide by contract to keep animals at FFA Farm (9/94) Members must obtain permission first from advisor to keep animal at FFA Farm. (9/94) Officers must attend officer meetings when scheduled. (9/94) Members must be academically eligible to participate in events. (9/94) In order for a member to be in good standing with the chapter they must do the following...
Members must be in good standing to show Livestock at Grant County Fair. (9/98)
These Bylaws are here forth set to make Ulysses FFA Chapter run smoother, let all members and parents know the expectations set forth, and to improve involvement in Ulysses FFA so members may encounter their potential for premiere leadership, personal growth and career success.
